What's New This Year?

This year the Schulich Charity Association will be hosting several exciting events to further encourage and engage students in activities that create a positive change. By introducing a variety of events for all types of students, collaborating with different student clubs, and hosting events every month, the Schulich Charity Association will be able to establish a stronger presence on campus and within the community.

CIBC Run for the Cure

The CIBC Run for the Cure is a healthy way to help those affected by Breast Cancer. Students and volunteers hold fundraisers to generate donations for breast cancer research. Running to make a difference is an easy and simple way to bring about great changes and hope into the lives of victims.

Fashion Show

The Schulich Fashion Show is the biggest event of the year. In addition to providing students with a wonderful opportunity to participate in a socially beneficial event, the Schulich Fashion Show also gives all organizations a chance to see their designs on the runway!

Give-and-Take Days

Give-and-Take Days give students the opportunity to volunteer once a month for charitable causes. Whether it is handing out backpacks to children in need of school supplies or sorting food at the daily bread food bank every event is designed for students to give a few hours and to take a lot from a new experience.

SCA Speaker Series

The SCA Speaker Series Event will allow students to learn about specific organizations and issues facing the non-profit sector. Industry professionals will provide insight on their respective companies and how they can engage in charitable or non-profit initiatives.
